Nest protect unable to connect to WiFi, error code p0006 (3.10)

Try to connect Nest Protect to WiFi but keep getting a error code P006 (3.10).  Have try two different Nest Protect (model S30008WES) and try use my iPhone 13max & also on my tablet but end up with the same error code. Any help appreciated. Btw the app does find both of the Nest Protect, but it get error code after entering Wi-Fi nay& password.

Thanks for posting here in the community. Let's go ahead and get the most out of your Nest Protect. Setting up a Nest Protect requires a stable WiFi connection. We recommend setting it up close to your WiFI router.

 

Give these steps a whirl:

  • Restart your Nest app and your WiFi router.
  • Place your Nest Protects near your WiFi router.
  • Reset them to the factory default and try adding it again.

Note: They should have a pulsing blue light during setup, indicating that they're ready to be set up. Also, Nest Protects can only be connected to 2.4GHz WiFi connection and can only be set up to the Nest App.
