New Google Protect - green light goes on and off all night

This is my second Nest Protect. The first went in back in 2012 and died its normal death (that I was not expecting!) a couple weeks ago. I bought another one and it was manufactured in April 2021, so I should get the full ten years.

Besides the backing plate not being compatible with the first one and having to drill in a new backplate, it's fine and the same.

Except for one thing. This is in my bedroom and whenever I move overnight, the green light comes on, stays on for about ten seconds, then goes off. It's like a motion detector!

The first one never did this, but it did have the "light out" green light test to make sure I knew it was working. I liked that. This is monstrous. What happened? Why is my bedroom glowing green all night unless I never make a move? Help!! Can I make it work like the first one?
