I recently installed a nest protect, to replace an old smoke detector, and when I look at the history on the nest app, it shows me that the power has been out every single day for months. I know that the power hasn't actually been out, does this mean that I have a faulty nest device? Is this a common malfunction?

Hey there! I have the same problem. We even returned it and purchased a new one yet still have the same issue. Our upstairs one works but the one at the top of our basement steps says "power out." It properly runs through a test cycle though. I'm at a loss

I'm having the same problem with one of mine. I have four or five others that work fine. The Nest Protect reports the power goes out once or twice a day for anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours.
