I have 10 nest protects and I need to update wifi after changing out router. I tried deleting one unit, resetting to factory and re adding but it won’t find new wifi. Do I truly need to remove all 10 of them and reset them to factory, then re add one at a time? That is a TON of work, It can’t be this difficult.

Hello laurieb,
I understand that you're having trouble connecting to your Wi-Fi network. I'm here to help you get back online. There is an option in the Nest app on how to change Nest Protect Wi-Fi network, but if it doesn’t work, you have to remove each Nest Protect from the ceiling and the Nest app, then factory reset it to reconnect it to your new WiFi network. Please take note that you have to put them all together on one table while reconnecting them on the Nest app. Here is a link on how to reset Nest Protect and erase all settings.
Let me know if you have additional questions.
Best,
Edmond
