Reconnect Indoor Nest wire camera

Changed my WiFi system recently, tired to reconnect one of my Nest products, Indoor camera, I was successful with the door bell and outdoor camera however my indoor camera did no longer show on my app. When I tried to reconnect I was unsuccessful in finding that camera. Tired to install as a new camera, did not identify the camera and did not connect. The green light on the camera was/is on however the camera is not connected and not identified on Nest or Google Home app.

If your camera is managed in the Nest app, you should be able to use Bluetooth to reconnect it to Wi-Fi.

Go to the same room as your camera, and turn on your phone’s Bluetooth, then follow the steps below.

  1. On the Nest app home screen, tap the Settings cog.
  2. Select Home info then Home Wi-Fi help.
    • Note: If you don’t find Home Wi-Fi help, you’ll need to remove your camera from the app and add it back with new Wi-Fi information. You’ll lose your video history so make sure to save any important video clips before removing your camera.
  3. Select the camera you want to update.
  4. Tap Start > Update settings.

Follow the on-screen instructions. Scan the QR code on the back of your camera when prompted.
