Sensor Error in history followed by Sensor Restored

Hello,

So my Nest Protect 2nd Generation in the history tab says that everyday at 506 pm a sensor error occurs but then is immediately followed by message  at 506 pm that says the sensor was restored. Does anyone have any idea why this is occurring? I have received no other messages about sensor errors and my Nest passes its nightly promise everyday as well. I just want to make sure it is still safe to use and will detect smoke and CO.

Sorry to hear about the sensor error message that you're getting, I know it can be confusing but I'm happy to look into this for you. 

 

I need a little more information to understand what’s going on. Please provide us the following information so we could investigate further.

  1. Screenshot of the sensor failure message on the Nest App.
  2. Nest Protect type (wired or battery powered) and generation.
  3. Software version.
