Smoke alarm multi users

Alright how do u add users to the nest app? I try and add in the nest app it tells me to go to the home app. Go to the home app it will not see the smoke alarm but will see all my non google products and it sends me back to nest. Purchased this smoke alarm just for getting notifications for all my family members.. I'm more than pissed about this.

Ok after hours of messing with this i finally figured it out.. Each user has to have both google home and google nest app  installed. Once they have that installed you add them into google home. Once they accept the invite into google home then you can then go into your nest app and verify they are their once they are their then they can install the product into the nest app. 

You should not need 2 apps to run one product as advertised.  Google you have teams of developers that could have a great app done in a day get with it instead of ignoring the issue for over 6 years. If i would have looked on these forums first i would have never purchased since their are a lot of other alternatives out their. I purchased based on the google name and boy did it disappoint
