Unable to add Protect Smoke Detector to app

I have 2 Nest Protect Smoke Detectors. I was able to connect the 1st one in my app but the 2nd and 3rd ones I receive a variety of error messages regarding WI-FI.  P006 and P017

I've reset the devices back to factory defaults, restarted the phone but am still unable to connect.

Hello JSB1903,

I understand that you're having trouble connecting your Nest Protect to Nest app. I'm here to help you get back online. Just to check: what is the status of the LED light on the Nest Protect? When you connect the other 2 Nest Protect are they right next to each other? Have you tried creating a new home structure then add the Nest protect?

I look forward to your response.

Best,
Edmond

I am having this error, but I cannot put the Nest protects right next to each other because they are wired! How can I put both my Protects on the network without one trying to connect to the other one and failing? I did not have this problem when I initially set them up, but then the P009 error occurred, and now I cannot connect both Protects since I guess they are too far away from each other; one is upstairs, and one is downstairs.

They have batteries in them.  You can disconnect the wiring harness move the nest to where you need it to be and then put it back.  Had my factory reset one on my desk for a couple of days and it stayed on without power.

Blue lights, yes they are right next to each other.  No i haven't created a new structure.  I will try that.

Thanks!

I created a new structure.  Took batteries out and put them back in then did a factory reset.

I logged out Nest App and back in same error message when trying to connect. "Can't connect Nest Protect to app or Wi-Fi". P006 (3.10)

I am having the same problem, I have 2 wired protects, I can add one of them to the home and to the network, but then I cannot get the other one to connect when they try to talk to each other, error P024, P013, P006. I can't move them closer, they are wired. I can't shut one off easily while configuring the other one, because they are wired. HELP!
