Vape false alarms

I think I know the answer to this already = defaunt discontinued entire Protect like, by still...

Anyone else's Protect set off by even minor ammouts of vapour from e-juice vaping?

Mine is MORE sensitive to it that say burning toast!

Guessing an outdated non-heat testing alarm, no matter how 'smart' and Connected and Expensive is still pointless, even if I'm not in Scotland!  😞

Yes, I've seen various users say this can trigger Nest Protect.

Specifically, it will more than likely trigger the "heads Up" function, which is designed to detect small trace amounts of smoke to give you advanced notice and the full alarm would more than likely sound if you're vaping near to it.

As long as you're not vaping close to the device, you could workaround this by disabling the "heads up" feature in the app but then you'd have no advance warning of smoke detections.
