Warranty form inoperative

Trying to file a warranty claim on a Nest Smoke/CO detector that is 3 months old. The warranty form does not work correctly on the phone or laptop.

I tried filling out the form again. It says “Refresh the page and try again” no matter how may times I have attempted to do just that.

I have already chatted with a representative. Because it is 3 months out of warranty they can't do anything for me.

The warranty form is still inoperable and only indicates that something went wrong and to "refresh" the page to try again.  Very simple form that has not worked for almost a half a year.  This is something I could have coded in high school.

If it does not work, they don’t have to fulfill their warranty commitments. All due to “Technical Difficulties “

I do. I had someone email me and ask for the receipt for and s/n of my unit. It’s been silent since then. That was almost 1 month ago. 
Obviously that email is as operational as your warranty form

@econner I've checked your case and I saw that they emailed you and wanted to get the serial no. and receipt of your Nest Protect. You may reply to them and provide the information they're asking to help you.

 

@KeithSwanson I'm sorry to hear if your Nest Thermostat has a W5 error. We'd be happy to take a look into this for you. Please fill out this form with all the needed information. Let me know once you’re done.

 

@allimagater may I know what seems to be the problem of your Nest Protect?

You do realize that the issue is affecting every single user (aka, million of users l, and giving a way to file the form only to those who were able to find this chat is ... wrong?

Hi Archie,

My device is now displaying a "W5" error and will not connect to my network.  So I'm not sure what I will do with the "Smart Thermometer"

Hello, I am having the same issue. I have been unable to submit the form. Not on a different browser, not on a different device, not in a house or with a mouse. Not with a fox or in a box. 

 

Please help.

Same here. Doesn't work on either browser/either device, and my nest wi-Fi warranty is expiring tomorrow! @aatienza
