Hi all. I recently bought a wired Nest Protect to replace my standard smoke alarm and need some help with the wiring. I removed my old alarm and noticed a much more complex set of wires than i had been expecting. I did some looking around and it sounds like my old alarms are both wired to the power as well as to each other (hence all the extra wires) which is not something needed with the Protect system. I'm hoping someone can give me some guidance on what wires i need to adjust to go where, so i can hook up my new alarm
