Hi Guys, has have system boiler on S plan. I got given 2 single channel controller of friends house.one is nest I guess 2nd Generation thermostat with control heating only. Then I have Hive which is again Single Channel controller.

Was wondering If I cud connect Hive Controller to control Hot water, and Nest to control Heating. I have tested them separately 1 at a time, and work as planned ( Installed hive controlled  Hot water, and Nest was not installed. Then disconnected Hive, Nest to Central Heating, it worked)

My Question is If both Nest & Hive are installed, and if is demand for both Hot Water & Central Heating, what happens!.
I can see that both port valves end on terminal 10 of wiring board, and connects to boiler & Pump Live. Do we get 480V at terminal 10 / fries the  PCB of boiler, or shud work fine
Any Suggestions
Thanks in advance

Hey The Glass House,

I would be more than happy to jump in and ensure you are good to go. No need to worry, as Nest thermostats are compatible with other thermostats in the house. I did find a helpful article that will provide you with more details on multiple thermostats in your home. Please let me know if that helps.
