How about posting a picture of your thermostat before you install the Nest showing the wires that were connected to the old thermostat and show us a picture of the nest back plate where you connect the wires?

Do you have a heat pump?

do you have a gas furnace?

Turns out the issue was the wiring. I had to take off the front face of the nest to ensure all wires were tightly in place. Thank you for the help!
