331 Nest E installations and are failing right and left.

From 2022 to late 2024 I have installed 331 nest E thermostats in a property here in Dallas. I have quite a few that have failed and a lot of them will not charge any longer. I am out of warranty on all of them now. Is there not a nest E model any longer. From what I am getting that all new nest thermostats now require wifi to operate?? Is this correct?

The Nest Thermostat E is still available but only through Nest Pros. 

all of Nests thermostat are designed to use WiFi, but you don’t have to use it with the Nest Thermostat E

The newest Google Nest Thermostats ( Google Nest Thermostat (2020) and the 4th Gen Learning thermostats) do require WiFi during setup. 

how are the thermostats wired? Fo they have a C wire installed?
