 Hi,

I am trying to install the wiring and little confused. I have the wires as shown in the pics. Red jumper and yellow jumper. If I take out the jumpers, left with C(white sleeve), RC(red sleeve), B(blue sleeve), W(yellow sleeve), G(green sleeve). After taking off the panel, I found another wire hidden behind the wall which is brown sleeve cable.

I really appreciate your advise in advance.

Best,

Kaz

Give this wiring a try

White - C to C

Red - RC to Rc (jumper to RH not needed)

Blue - B to OB

Yellow - W to Y1 (jumper to Y not needed)

Green - G to G

If your system starts to blow cool air when your Nest thermostat is in Heat mode (or if it blows warm air when it's in Cool mode), change the settings for the orientation of your heat pump.

  1. On your thermostat, go to Settings.
  2. Select Equipment.
  3. Select Continue > Continue.
  4. Select Heat Pump.
  5. The Nest Thermostat defaults to an O setting for heat pumps.
    • If the O option is highlighted, select B.
    • If the B option is highlighted, select O.
  6. To make sure the issue is resolved, test your heating and cooling again.

Thank you! It worked! Had to change the setting on heat pump like you suggested.
