This question is really for the Google Mods that have access to the powers that be!!!
Could someone explain why the latest software update for the EU/UK, does NOT include use for the temperature sensors? Users have been asking for some years for this simple item to be usuable, but with the latest update nothing, WHY?
Google have managed to add their pointless logo at start up, but nothing worthwhile for the user.

Hi @Frustratedddd,
Thank you for reaching out to the community. I understand your concern that the latest software update for EU/UK Nest Thermostats does not include a feature to enable the Nest Temperature Sensor, which users have been requesting for several years. I'm glad to share more information with you.
The Nest Temperature Sensor is designed to be compatible only with specific Nest Thermostats manufactured for use in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Due to key technical differences in how the systems operate across regions, Nest Thermostats sold in the EU/UK are not able to connect with the sensor.
We truly value your feedback on this. Please consider sharing your thoughts directly with our development team through this feedback form. Your input will help us prioritize features and ensure that we're meeting the needs of our diverse user base.
Feel free to keep us posted if you have more questions.
Best regards,
Gabriela

Thank you for your response. What would the key technical differences be? Other manufacturers are able to use remote sensors, why not this system?
