Getting a 260 power message on my Nest that I just installed.  I have no C wire and there is no C terminal on my aquastat to connect the C wire from a Nest Power Connector.  So, I might try connecting an external plug-in 24 vac adapter directly to the Nest base on the wall.  The Nest base has Y, C & W terminals on the left side and G, R & OB terminals on the right side.  Across what two terminals on the Nest base should I connect the external 24 Vac adapter.  It's a heat only system with only two wires that are currently connected to to the W and R terminals.  Thanks for any help.

Hi Charles,

We're sorry to hear that you're having wiring issues! I totally can get the frustration behind decoding an HVAC wiring setup. I'm happy to look into this for you.

Can you provide a picture of your pre-existing setup? I'd like to see what you're describing and ensure which wires are where.

I look forward to your reply. We're here to help!
