Adding family member phone to nest thermostat

My phone is connected to the app for my nest thermostat but I’m trying to connect my wife’s phone to the thermostat and it asked for a six digit number and letter which we put in and it doesn’t do anything on the next page doesn’t show the code. How do I get her phone connected with the Nest app

You can invite family members to your home or nest family.
This way the family members can control the thermostat.
