Anyway to permanently stop eco function on nest heating app?

Whenever I turn my heating on manually the eco setting keeps kicking in and switching it off. More often than not it thinks I’m not home when I am. Does anyone one how you can permanently disable that function as not fit for purpose?

Turn "Home/Away Assist" OFF in the Nest settings.  Then, on the main Nest screen BEFORE you select the thermostat, go to Settings there.  Again select Home/Away Assist, select the thermostat, and turn OFF "Automatically use Eco when no one is home".
