My house isn’t very old and it’s saying my system isn’t compatible. This is my setup,
R, O, Y1, E, W2, G, C
is this compatible by chance? I’m thinking the E wire is tripping things up but I’m not sure at all what’s for what. Thanks in advance!

Your system is fully compatible with the Nest Learning Thermostat 3rd Gen or the new 4th Gen.
If you can live without the emergency heat feature, you can use the Google Nest Thermostat (mirrored display). Just tape it off.
Just match the labels and the brown L wire isn't used either, so tape it off.

Post a picture of the original thermostat's wiring.
The E wire is for emergency heat

Thanks so much! The angle is weird because the sticker with the letters doesn’t line up exactly with the wires, but I believe I don’t have an L wire, the brown is actually a C wire as it’s second from the right. Is this still okay?

Having a C wire is even better
