Having same issue here: unable to add Nest thermostat to Vivint system, under add devices.
Says:
Visit vivint.com/nest and log in to your Nest account to obtain a Nest PIN code.
Then field on panel display to enter Nest PIN
No where in the process of doing so is there any place that provides a PIN

I need to update this. After a lot of troubleshoot and stepping through their process it ended up being fixed by using an iOS device. For some reason it wasn’t playing well with Android.
the issue is resolved. For everyone finding this if you have someone who has an apple device, use it to sign in with and it will work.

I can’t seem to add my nest app to vivant. It was there and then my daughter was messing around with the nest app and now it’s gone. I can’t seem to find any support on this.

I understand. What I was trying to say was that logging into my google account from an iOS device enabled me to work through the process of bringing my nest thermostat into control by the Vivant panel, without any pin or anything

The response you refer to is incomplete. The sole suggestion is use an iOS device, it’s all I have iOS devices. When you try to authorize vivint it just says press done. You press done and the same widow appears…over and over never completing the task. I guess the pin is just ungettable. This is why people aren’t returning after the late responses.

Sorry you felt the solution that worked for me was incomplete.. I spent 4.5+ hours on the phone with the VIvint tech support stepping through their process operation by operation only to find that their process was incomplete.
At that point instead of using my Samsung device because their android process was incomplete, I used my son’s iOS apple XR and logged into my Google account. Through this action I was able to add the Nest Thermostat to my Vivint smart panel without issue.
In the end I would call it a work-around solution because of an incomplete process.. hopefully by now there is a more feasible solution in place, but if not trying my work around may help, or at least save you almost 5 hours on the phone to an overseas connection.

Wow, it’s been weeks. I almost gave up on the thermostat and went back to the vivint thermostat. I dug for weeks and it was almost impossible since google made it impossible to log into the nest web settings after migration. I figured out you couldn’t have more than one company paired and apparently if you change out the vivint panel google does not make it easy to connect the new panel even though it’s the same company. I deleted vivint and readied them as if new but it took weeks to figure out which is apparently how often you guys check on these help areas.

Hello! Do you know how to delete the previous profile? I just upgraded my panel, and it won't connect, just goes in that never ending loop. Any help would be great!

Nest is owned by google. You have to go into your google settings and remove permissions for vivint and then the automated process for vivint will work as normal.

Thank you so much for this, I was starting to lose my mind. I just wish the installation guy did this or at least gave me direction. I got new cameras and didn't realize until he left that it was no longer linked to my vivint account.

I cannot figure out how to connect my nest to my vivant app on my phone. Can you point me in the right direction?

If I’m not mistaken you have to log into vivint and basically authorize yourself before you can log into the app. Their self help area is pretty helpful with that.

If it’s the first time you do this vivint has a helpful Q&A section. Calling them directly sucks as it seems they have 1 person manning the phones for every 1000 customers.
