Buy a new nest heat link

Hi All, 

I hope someone can help. 

We had Nest thermostat installed in our previous property. When moving house we read online we had to take our Nest Thermostat control dial with us, so we did (we didn't take the Heat Link as it was wired in by a professional).

I am now trying to purchase a new heat link to install in our new property but Nest Support don't have an answer on where or how I can purchase just a heat link. 

 

Anyone else had this problem?

Nest for some mad reason do not sell parts. Ebay is your best bet for Heat Links, but make sure you get one FULLY working, and the seller shows it working FULLY.

Silly question, but where did you get the information about taking your thermostat with you???
