Nest app & Google home connected fine to my old iPhone. I bought a new iPhone 16 & have been unable to connect to app or Google home. Unable to add device to Google home with qr code. Have tried reconnecting to network & restarting thermostat. Also tried deleting & reloading apps. No help…

You don't need to reconnect device...just sign into the nest app using the same account as your previous one, and it will populate.

Sorry I see in your first post you said Google home app, have you tried logging into that, again using the same account that you had on your previous phone.

Yes. Google home does not recognize qr code when trying to add device & nest app does not load.

To be clear.. you should NOT have to use a QR code or setup any device unless you factory reset it.
You should just log into Google home on your new phone , using the same account you logged in on your old phone, and the devices will appear.

The Nest does not appear on Google home which is why I have restarted the nest & tried all methods to add the Nest to the Google home app.

Okay so I am working with only have the information here. When you say you restarted the nest, do you mean you power cycled it, or did you actually factory reset it?
Is the thermostat running? Can you go into (on the thermostat itself) system settings, and see if its linked to a google account? If so, THAT is the account you will need to be logged into to see the thermostat.
