Can't add existing thermostat to the Nest app

I can't add my existing thermostats to the Nest app. They were accidentally deleted... can they be retrieved ? I've tried several times to add them back to the app, however, I'm getting an error code stating the wi-fi can't connect. I've rebooted the router several times and the stats are connected, but still can't add to the app.... Need help

I've linked a help centre article below that will help you troubleshoot this. Are you seeing an error code in the app at all? Do let us know what happens when you try these steps? Try to be as detailed as possible so we know how best to advise.
