Can’t reconnect remotely to my Nest thermostat

I was away from home. I wanted to see my Nest settings. When I opened the Nest App, they wanted me to sign in with my Google password. Usually I’m able to automatically get on. When I entered my Google password, I no longer could see my Nest thermostat temperature. And all it asked whether I wanted to add a new device. I’m not going to my home for several more weeks.

Google was suggesting you switch to Google Home.  As long as you have a Nest Learning Thermostat, you can continue to use the Nest app.

Hi Larhaz, 

 

Thanks for reaching out to us. It looks like your account has not yet migrated to Nest. Try to sign out again from the app and instead of clicking Continue with Google, try to click Continue with Nest instead.
