Cannot get rid of E73 error message

Help…tried to install c wire adapter. Couldn’t do it…took it off and am now getting error message that won’t go away

Need to see pic of how you wired your base and can you tell us the type of system you have.

Heat with ac? Heat only? Heat Pump? Boiler hot water heating? etc.
