Hi
I live in a Condo and the central AC has a Daikin 2 wire controller which controls both the temperature as well as fans speed of the air conditioning unit. Rear of 2 wire Daikin Controller
Front of Daikin AC controller
I have added a C-wire adapter to provide power to the unit. I have connected the White Wire to R, the Black wire to Y and the power from the 24V adapter to the C connector.
When I turn on the Nest thermostat to cool, nothing happens as the fan does not kick in. Can you please help on how to connect the wires to the thermostat for it to work. I was thinking of putting a "jumper wire" between the Y and G on the nest thermostat?
Thanks

From what I see, it is incompatible with any Nest thermostat, as it uses a proprietary interface.

Your Daikin uses a proprietary RS-485 interface to communicate with condenser and evaporator units. This system is not compatible with a Nest Thermostat.

Hi,
Do you know if the Airzone adapter would solve the issue?
Thanks

I am not sure I have not worked with one of these. Judging from the installation manual it appears to allow a smart thermostat to connect to using Rh Rc W Y G C wires. It has to be ordered based on your unit model to ensure its P1 and P2 interface and communicate with the HVAC equipment.
