@Thermostat6 , you have what appears to be a Heat Pump system. The odd thing is you have 2 wires connected to W1. Most heat pumps have auxiliary heat and use the AUX connector, but your thermostat is wired as secondary heat. Do you have access to your indoor air handler unit? Do have Gas Furnace or Oil burner Furnace?
Your wires being used are:
R - Red wire , 24Vac Power In
C - Blue wire, Power Common
W1 - White wire, secondary heat
W1 - Black wire, secondary heat
Y1 - Yellow wire, Compressor Relay
G - Green wire, Blower Fan Relay
O/B - Orange wire, Heat Pump Reversing Valve; changes mode Heat/Cool

@Thermostat6 , she have time, go to the attic and see where brown thermostat cable enter the furnace cabinet. That will the the panel you will need to open. Once inside the unit, you will see where the black wire and the white wire terminate. Take a picture and post it so we can see, please.

Hey Thermostat6,
Please take a photo of the wires connected to your systems control board, as it will help us further to check your system compatibility with the Nest Thermostats.
