My Nest thermostat says it is not compatible. Which model of Nest Thermostat will be compatible with these wires? R, Y, B, W, G and W2, with a jump wire to Rc.

Nest should work. Blue wire might need to be on C on nest sub-base mounting plate. Confirm blue is connected to C @ equipment beforehand.
is there a switch on the back of the old stat positioned to heat pump or elec. heat or gas heat old plate also has letters on bottom Your old thermostat is made to work on gas heating or heat pump with heat/cool so does nest. Never rule out defective 1 good luck

Hi folks,
Thanks for posting in the Google Nest Community forum. I'm sorry for the delay. It looks like it's compatible with the Nest Thermostats. You just need to know if that blue wire is for a heat pump (OB) or it serves as your system's C wire (C). Please take a photo of the wires that are connected to your HVAC control board and share it with us.
I appreciate the help, @HVAC.
Best,
Jenelyn

Hi there,
@Pj8, based on your system's wiring, you have a heat pump system. It's compatible with the Nest Thermostats. You can follow the wiring guide below.
WIRING GUIDE: don't use any jumper wires.
