Hi Mitchkam,

Thanks for reaching out here in the Google Nest Community.

After you've reinstalled your Google Home app, we should allow the app from the menu > settings > app and then allow the app to make the necessary access.

Let me know how it goes by replying to this thread.

Regards,

Ryan

Hi Mitchkam,

Thanks for the reply and we're sorry for the delay.

I am sorry for the confusion here. From your Android phone, we'll need to set the permission for the Google Home app in the settings. By doing so, the Google Home app can make the necessary adjustment and communicate with your devices in the network.

Regards,

Ryan

Google Home is not showing up in my settings-permissions and i have it downloaded on my phone. Should i be looking in the permission for Google? And then once I'm in it what am i looking for?

Hi Mitchkam,

Thanks for the reply.

When an app is being installed in your phone, you can go to settings > apps > then select the app that you wish to check the settings with.

Regards,

Ryan
