Cooling setting not found in Nest

Trying to install the Nest Thermostat.  I have a PEK wire which is not being used, or should it be?

Here are old wiring pics (Ecobee) and Nest (round) current wired pics, which only gives me a heating option...

The Ecobee thermostat that you are replacing is using its proprietary PEK terminal because it doesn't have enough wires to set it up correctly. If you look in the Furnace/air handler, you will find an Ecobee Power Extender kit module. This module is similar to the Nest Power Connector and does a similar job, but they are not compatible.

The simplest way to install the Nest is to see how the thermostat wires connect to the terminal block on the control board of the furnace/air handler and copy that connection at the Nest

Check your wires going into your furnace. C (blue - common wire) should be connected to the C terminal. The rest: R - goes to red, Y - goes to yellow, W goes to white and G goes to green. In the Nest Thermostat, it's the same thing. Yellow (cooling) should go to Y, Blue to C, Red (heating) to R, White to W and Green to G.

If the connections are wrong, I believe Nest will tell you (Wire Info of Settings).

Thanks for the replies.  I found another thread here that had the solution.  The PEK is connecgted to the Y as indicated on the other post.  I had to do a factory reset and during the new setup, say I had a Y wire, and then the setup worked perfectly.  Thanks everyone!
