Hello all,
I have the Nest 3rd Generation learning thermostat. A couple of days ago the thermostat started showing a H71 fault.
On inspection the heat link was showing no lights even though the electrical supply to the heat link was fine.
Phoned Google/Nest who diagnosed the unit as defective and was supposed to get a follow up phonecall from a "senior expert" to arrange a replacement I have waited three days and heard nothing.
I have made a number of phone calls and been left on hold for 40 minutes at a time without speaking to anyone (then gave up out of frustration).
I have two children under 3 years old who have started to complain about the conditions they have been forced to endure.
Google sort this out - it's not good enough.
To all my fellow sufferers I'm sorry if you find yourself reading this post in search of enlightenment I have no useful information. I just want someone to blinking well answer my calls.

Edit: Called the helpline again waited 45 minutes then the call was dumped at 7.29 M*****f#&!3*s

Try the chat line you may have better luck, and you don't have to hold onto the phone.
Quote your case number and your halfway there.
I think the shut of time for all contact is 7pm, so you may have sat there waiting for nothing.
