Dehumidifier compatibility

Is the only thing compatible a whole home dehumidifier or can it link to a normal WiFi dehumidifier?

Hello Pimpcharisma,

Google Nest thermostats are compatible with dehumidifiers, but we strongly recommend professional installation for these systems because incorrect setup, either due to miswiring or wrong software settings, can cause weird Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) behavior and even damage the HVAC system.
