I have a nest learning thermostat that periodically shuts down and becomes non-responsive. The display is blank with just a green blinking light at the top. I have tried pressing and holding for 10 seconds to reset; that doesn’t work. I have also removed from the wall and charged with a usb charger for 3 hours. The device did not turn on after charging. This has happened twice before and after a few days of being left alone, the device reset and then worked fine for a few days.

Why can’t I invite people under Nest. I do NOT want to migrate to googles restrictions. What’s so hard about that? Ruined Nest cameras

My nest is doing all of the about but never turning on for more than one minute. I have tried resetting it I have tried plugging it to the wall for a 3+ hour charge. Nothing is making it work the way it did when we bought it

My thermostat after being charged via USB and has started up will then only hold the charge for 10 minutes then it shuts down again. I've left it charging to the USB for days and it still will not hold a charge. What's going on?

Also, I know it is the NEST unit itself and not the wall mount b/c I have another NEST thermostat in another part of my house and when I swap them out, the "broken" doesn't work in the other location either.

It was all fine before Google messed with it. Drop this Migrate crap and leave Nest alone

Mine is doing the same thing. Only turning on for 10 minutes at most and then shuts down.
