Disconnecting Nest and Frost Settings

Hi,

We are in the process of moving house and we are leaving our Nest Thermostat for the new owner. I've reset it to factory settings and the broadband has been disconnected. We've now heard that the sale has been delayed for a few months and I'm concerned that we can't control the heating. Can anyone tell me if the nest will at least have frost protection even though we can't control it?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

The easiest option is, set the thermostat up again ''without'' your details. Just set up as a working thermostat, and the new owner can then put their details in. You will have full manual control, but NOT with remote access.
