Unable to display current temperature with Farsight even when i have it selected on the thermostat. Currently the current temperature is higher than the target temperature. I have tried ECO,HEATING and OFF modes.
I was able to select digital clock and that worked. Unfortunately current temperature settings using farsight doesn't.
We installed the Nest for the LP gas stove as a backup heat source to our wood stove upstairs and pellet stove downstairs. When away the Nest app can display inside temperature to tell us the house temperature is ok.

I must have to admit that I am not aware of what farsight is in the Nest app or the nest thermostat. Can you please take a moment and explain it to me so I can learn?

Hey folks,
BenjaminIan, thanks for reaching out. Try changing what Farsight displays or like to turn Farsight off. Follow the steps below and let us know how it goes.
CoolingWizard, Farsight is a function available on the Nest Learning Thermostat (NLT) that allows the customer to view information on the thermostat display from a distance. By default, Farsight is set to On and displays the target temperature. The customer also has the option to change the display to show the ambient temperature, time, or current weather. This function is not available on the Nest Thermostat E.
Thanks,
Archie

Thank you for the clarification on Farsight. Once you described I was aware of the function, must not feature name.
