Eco is overriding set schedule

Hi - I have a Nest thermostat at my place of business (small gym).  I have set a schedule, but when no one is present it switches to Eco mode.  That's fine but when the next schedule temperature change is scheduled, it doesn't kick on.  Yesterday, the schedule was set to turn up to 65 degrees (from 55 overnight) at 4:30am.  However, the inside temperature dropped to 46 (!) bc the Eco mode was overriding the schedule.  Do I just turn the Eco mode off?  I thought the schedule would override Eco.  Anyone able to help?  Thanks!!

Nest Aware is deciding that since no one is there it is automatically activating Eco mode.

Personally, I have not found Nest Aware to be all that useful.   In the Nest app, select your Nest and then the Settings 'Gear'.  The option is listed in the Settings section as "Home/Away Assist".  Turn that option off.

On the main page of the Nest app, BEFORE you select the thermostat, select the settings gear and then Home/Away Assist.  Here you will see an option for 'what decides if you're home'.  You'll see Use Phone and [name of your Nest].  Set those both to No.

Amazing!  Thank you so much for the detailed instructions.  I will put them to good use immediately.  No more cold morning clients.  thanks John!!
