For Home/Away can I use two phones?

Can I use both my wife’s and my iPhone for the Nest to know when we’re home or away? Now it’s just my phone, but then if my wife’s home and I’m not, the Nest can shut down heating or cooling.

Hi Jake,

Many thanks for the follow-up. I haven't gotten to this yet because of travel and other holiday-related activities. My understanding is that if I add my wife as a person or user in Google Home, then her phone can also be used for Home/Away purposes. I've walked through some of this process and just need to finish it.

Hi again, Jake,

I think I've solved this. I had to install the Google Home and Nest apps on my wife's phones, invite her as a member of my home, and then using the Nest app get her set up to use her phone to indicate Home versus Away. Tne Nest app is now listing both of our phones for this purpose. Originally, I assumed that in Nest I could just add someone's phone to indicate Home/Away, but I guess without the Next app installed on that phone there's no way the Nest would be in touch with that phone.
