Hello,
I am trying to troubleshoot the connection between my Google Nest 3rd Generation thermostat and the Heat Link. Setup on the thermostat always fails to connect to the Heat Link with h72 error.
The status light on the Heat Link is always solid yellow. I have tried to reset it (by holding the button down for > 30 seconds), but the light never changes to blinking blue. I have also restarted the thermostat by holding it for > 10 seconds.
I have setup both devices using USB power and they are right next to each other. I have tried everything. I feel like factory resetting the thermostat could help, but I don't think this is possible before connecting to the Heat Link (because the Settings menu is not accessible).
After many hours, I'm extremely frustrated and losing hope. I have seen similar issues on the internet reported, but I feel like I've tried everything. Any advice?
