I am looking to see if my wall thermostat is compatible. Using the Google Nest compatibility checker I am not it is not, but don't understand why.
My existing unit is a 'White Rogers 1F80-261' thermostat unit (see photo below) with the following wires:
RC, RH, C, W, Y, G, O, B
it is rated as 17 to 30 VAC 50/60 Hz
0.05 to 1.0 Amps

Hello gbrew,
Thanks for posting here in the Community. Based on the photos of the wires from your current thermostat, this is a single heating system. This should be compatible with any type of Nest Thermostat. Check out this link for Nest thermostat compatibility.
The correct wiring configuration for that in the Nest thermostat is:
1. Blue wire on C
2. Red wire on R or RH/RC
3. Green wire on G
4. White wire on W1
Take note that there is another red wire connected on the RC and RH it's only a jumper wire and no need to put it to the Nest thermostat as the Nest thermostat base has a built-in jumper wire.
Let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks,
Edmond
