Google data download

I recently downloaded data from my NEST Thermostat.

It gave me a CSV file which is great.

However 4 columns have data under the following column titles that I have no idea what they are or what the data in these columns are. Can someone explain. Thanks

They are:

max(pir)

max(NearPir)

min(als)

max(als)

Hi Paul21,

Thanks for posting and sorry for the delay.

Could you check on the sides of these columns if there are descriptions about it?

Best,

Mel

On each row is the date and time in 15 min segments.

I think the column of data are related to: "ambient light, far passive infrared, and near proximity data."

Not stuff I have any interest in. What I really want to know is how long my heat was on a stage 1, how long the heat was on at Stage 2 and how long cooling was on for each 15 min segment

Hi Jenelyn,

Yes I am still not able to get the data that I am looking for.

My furnace has a low fire and a high fire setting. Nest does not recognize this at all in the data downloaded. It simply lets you know how many minutes it is "on", which is rather useless to me.

Is there a solution?

Thanks Paul
