I hooked up Google nest thermostat and my heat was on and blowing but not warm as with original thermostat. It was just blowing air. I never checked the cooling since it was cold outside.

Aux On old thermostat I connected to W on nest thermostat O wire I connected to OB.

I chose forced air and no to 2 fuel source I believe was the option during setup. Can anyone tell me if know of any adjustments to wiring or setup to get nest thermostat working properly.

Hi Gabriel4,

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with your Nest Thermostat. To isoalate the issue, please try the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. On your thermostat, go to Settings.
  2. Select Equipment.
  3. Select Continue and then Continue.
  4. Select Heat Pump.
  5. The Nest Thermostat defaults to an O setting for heat pumps.
    • If the O option is highlighted, select B.
    • If the B option is highlighted, select O.
  6. To make sure the issue is resolved, test your heating and cooling again.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Edward
