Hi, received error message H71 on Nest thermostat.
Have tried all troubleshooting suggestions, but the unit is totally dead unfortunately.
Any suggestions to remedy welcomed.....it's a tad cold at the minute!
Thanks

Hi there! Sorry to hear about this, but no worries, I'll do my best to help sort this issue out. Could you please let me know if there's any LED on the Heat Link?

Hi, many thanks!
No, there are no lights at all on the heat link.

Thanks for confirming. If you haven't already, check the breakers and switches at the location, to make sure nothing has tripped. Also check the boiler as it can sometimes have a separate switch on it. Confirm it has power, it should have a display or LED that turns on.
If it all looks good try and power cycle the Heat Link, if you're comfortable in doing so. Turn the power to the Heat Link off for a few minutes and then turn it back on. See if it has any reaction after, when you press the button on it.

Many thanks for the reply.
Out of the blue I received an email from Google Nest today advising me that we're eligible for a replacement free of cost, booked in for Friday!
So, whilst it's thermals and jumpers for the next couple of days, at least it's getting sorted........
Thanks again for taking the time to reply, appreciated!
