Heat Link disconnecting from Nest 3 Thermostat

I have seen a few posts relating to this problem but no specific solution to an intermittent issue like the one I have. I had the thermostatic fitted professionally about two weeks ago, it was working perfectly for approximately seven days and then it stopped connecting, when I looked into the problem it reconnected without having to do anything, This has now been repeated a few times, perhaps once every two or three days. 

Aside from moving the thermostat nearer the heat link are there any other relatively simple solutions? My thermostat is on a wall in a hallway. Can you get an extension cable for the heat link itself?

I rebooted the heat link and so far it’s fixed the issue.

You could move the Heat Link closer as you say, but there is no extension as such.

There are issues with DECT phones if you have one, or anything that with a remote signal may be?

You could always reset, and try a connection again, just in case there may be an odd gremlin.

Hi can someone please expand on the issue with Dect phones?  I have had a Nest Thermostat for a long time and has worked fine.  Recently though the thermostat keeps disconnecting from heat link.  This happens a couple of times a day.  It usually reconnects first time when I press button to try again.  The thermostat is quite a long way from heat link but nothing has changed and it used to work fine so I don’t think that is the issue.  Perhaps the radio connection is getting interference? Thanks for any help anyone can give.
