Heat comes on when I want cool

I made a mistake and selected a prompt to remove the star wire. I could not get out of the applicaation so I answered random questions to move forward. Now my AC is blowing heat, its the middle of the summer.

What shall I do?

I just want to operate this thermosthat without connecting it to wifi and my cell phone. I dont like this.

@Tamara_G , why would you buy a smart thermostat if you have no desire to use the advanced features such as energy savings, system fault detection, energy usage profile, remote control, etc.

The bigger question is....why wont this sophisticted item work properly? So you like hot air blowing on you in the summer? You were no help at all.

@Tamara_G , indeed you can use the nest without connecting to Wifi. You will need to use Nest Pro setup to complete the installation. Start by uploading the picture of your old thermostat showing the wires attached.  This will help us get your nest set up correctly without wifi and no Nest App.

@Tamara_G, to better understand this so we can provide possible steps, could you tell us the Nest Thermostat model you have? You can share with us a photo of its wiring setup and gather power readouts in the Technical Info settings or in the Equipment settings. Also, do you have a Heat Pump system?
