Help installing nest with power cable on older 2 wire electric heater

Have a 2 wire electric forced air heating system. I got everything hooked up and seemed to be working I just know where to put the c connector in the power stabilizer. There is no circuit board, I figured I'd just put it 120v wire and that didn't work worried I messed it up now! Please hep

One thing you need to understand and remember is that the nest thermostat like all traditional and conventional thermostats operates on 24 V of AC power. Not 120 V or 240 V. The same is true about the power connector it is designed to work with 24 V of AC power. When your system is a forced air system, your 24V Power Common is inside the forced air unit not on the heater itself. Now do you have a nest power connector, or what is the thing you called a “stabilizer”?
