Help it says not compatible during set up. I did not use brown or black wire.

Is your HVAC system a Heat Pump? If so, your system only works with the Nest Learning Thermostat. You can use the Nest Thermostat Compatibility Checker as your guide for its wiring configuration. Please check out this article and let us know if you have more questions.
