Help - old phone number on account

LornaS
Community Member

We have a nest thermostat which is linked to my husbands old phone number - we can’t log in as it sends a verification code to the old number, and can’t find a way around this. I’ve tried setting up an account with my email address but can’t link to the nest as it says it’s already connected to an account!! Help!!

Your most likely going to have to factory rest the tstat. Here is the article on 2 step authentication.
