Honeywell to Nest E - 2 wire system

I am having issues to see what goes with what. I have a strong feeling that this thermostat isn’t compatible but wanted to get feedback.

Attached is the picture of the wiring of my Honeywell thermostat. This unit is only connected by the red (r) and blue (c) wires.  However, there are unused yellow, green and white wires that are not stripped and terminated to anything. Am I able to use those wires to my nest install?

We have hot water baseboard heat. Its a 2 wire system

.  We were able to connect a 3 rd green wire  to C and bypass the C connector issue.

There is probably a way to make yours work with ur system.

The wire to your C is actually W wire.

So you would connect R to R and the blue to W

It might be ok without a C wire but its always best to have a C wire.

If you can post pics of where the wires connect at the boiler we might be able to show you where you can connect one of the spare wires to the Common side of the transformer for a C wire.
