My Hot water is not working
The system has been installed for 18 months with no issues
Recently the water has not been very hot
On investigation it appears that although the Nest thermostat shows the water to be on on the timer and on the boost function it is not firing the boiler. The heating function is working fine the hot water is switched on in the settings and we have had the system checked over by the installer
we are getting some hot water which we think is heating up when the central heating is on but we’re not qualified to know that, just an assumption!
can anyone help with a solution

Thanks for reaching out here @Petermabrook . I would be happy to try and assist. Let us do a quick test using the Nest app on the Heat Link. That will help us get an initial idea of what may be going on.
Go next to the Heat Link with the Nest app open:
1. Go to the heating section and make sure the display is black, heating is off.
2. turn up the temperature, the display will go orange, to turn on the heating and listen for a clicking noise. Also check if the boiler has signs of being on like noise or a display.
3. Turn the temperature down until the screen goes blank, heating off, and listen to the Heat Link for a clicking noise again. Check also if the boiler is off.
After you got this, switch to the hot water control section:
1. Press on the cogwheel in the upper right corner to go into the hot water settings and toggle off the first option there if it is on. Let me know it if was on or off.
2. Boost the hot water and listen for a clicking noise again, like from the heating side.
3. Turn the boost off and listen for a clicking noise again.
Make sure to check the boiler and water tank activity when turning the boost on and off and let me know what the results are after.

I have same issue. I tried to boost i tried to reset schedule, i tried turning on, then off, also tried pressing button on a heatlink for manually heating water but boiler doesn't start, no sounds, no lights on a boiler coming on.
I was getting my hot water during winter while i was heating radiators, but now summer time i need only water heated for shower. But no action happening.

I did but as i mentioned in a first post nothing happens if i try to do anything with a hot water setting.
Turn on - no clicking
Turn off - no clicking
Boost on - boiler silent, no clicking no heating
Boost off - same.
The only way i can get hot water in a taps or shower if i start radiator heating.
In the app it always shows water heating ON . App color orange, i even tried scheduling but didn't help. If i turn off it goes gray in the app. Even if i do manual boost, on the thermostat it self i can see red water droplet. But boiler just doesn't do anything.
Also for some reason in android app if i go to hot water I can't see schedule button, also there's no buttons to turn off or turn on hot water. I can see those menu choices only in online website

The only emails I receive from you are emails asking if I’ve had an email!! I am not receiving emails relating to the problem with my nest which is still happening.
I note from the forum that other people seem to be having a similar problem and I am hoping that you can advise if there is some kind of bug in the system.
I have had both a plumber and electrician out to look at the system and neither can find any issues with the heating system or the electrics
van you please advise if there is a known bug or fix ASAP
